Sugar Free Hot Chocolate

I think this hot chocolate is very rich, which I like, but obviously change it up according to your preferences.

1 Cup milk (approximately)
1 Tb cocoa
1 tsp truvia (or to taste)
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp cinnamon, or mint, raspberry, or almond extract
dash of salt

Add all ingredients to a mug and heat for about a minute depending on your microwave. This tastes even better with a couple drops of agave nectar.

  1. Made this again last night, even though I don't have to avoid sugar anymore for my class! So know I'm still appreciating your healthy recipes out of desire to have something yummy and healthier, not just obligation!
