Candied Pecans

Put 1/2 cup pecans in small saucepan. Add 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water. Bring to simmer, stirring constantly. Simmer about 7 minutes, or until sugar is thick and sticky. Use your nose to make sure you're not overcooking! Spread pecans on parchment paper to cool.

  1. hmmm... I think we're going to have to try these when we're together some time as I have decided I am not very skilled at making candied nuts like this. I've tried candying almonds a few times, but usually ruin one or two batches in the process. I need training! Will you be my trainer? :)
